Only three more matches from IEM Rio Major’s Legends Stage are left to play and the fate of six teams, and countless pick’ems, hang in the balance.

The Legends Stage of the IEM Rio 2022 Major is almost over, with just six CSGO teams left to fight for the final three spots in the Champions Stage playoffs. This also marks the final set of games to be played in Riocentro before the action moves to the Jeunesse Arena.

Only the lineups representing ENCE, MOUZ, BIG, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid and Team Spirit remain in the competition, after shock exits from favourites and defending Major champions FaZe Clan, French-Danish superteam Team Vitality and iconic name Ninjas in Pyjamas.

MOUZ will take on ENCE in the opening game in the final day of play in the Legends Stage. While both lineups have taken impressive wins off Vitality earlier in the stage, MOUZ have a lot to prove after going 3-0 in the Challengers Stage. ENCE have been in their stride with new addition and Spanish AWPing star SunPayus and will be looking to repeat a playoffs run after making a deep run at PGL Antwerp earlier this year.

The next game will see NAVI and BIG clash for their IEM Rio Major lives. After battling through Challengers Stage, BIG will not be looking to go home early now even in the face of one of the greatest CS:GO players of all-time.

Liquid versus Spirit will not just be a battle for a playoffs spot in Rio, but also a crucial game for many people’s in-game pick’ems. A large portion of fans have backed Liquid and following numerous upsets across the Legends Stage, may be counting on the North American side to be in top form to secure them five total picks to keep their Diamond Coin hopes alive. The individual players of Spirit have been incredible, so this will be a nail-biter for fans on both sides.
