Rekkles Launches Self-Titled Clothing Line

Former Fnatic, G2 Esports and Karmine Corp ADC Rekkles has launched a personal brand featuring his own clothing line, with pieces featuring motifs many fans will recognise.

Initially teased on social media with snippets shown by Rekkles in posts and countdown streams, it was unclear what the big reveal was actually going to be but many had predicted that it could well be a long-awaited store.

Crowd-pleaser

With over 600,000 followers on Twitter and 1.1 million on Twitch, Rekkles is one of the most popular League of Legends players in the west.

Two black and red designs for both t-shirts and hoodies, King in the North and Bot Diff, and a gaming sleeve called Power Spike are included in the initial wave of products. The King in the North phrase is one that Rekkles uses to refer to himself across social media.

Bot Diff is a phrase used by League players to describe a skill gap between duos in the bot lane. The phrase Power Spike describes a moment in the game, whether a level or an item purchase, that drastically improves a champion’s capabilities, such as Yasuo and Yone buying Immortal Shieldbow or Kassadin’s increased impact after 20 minutes.

LEC Future?

As the store has gone live, Rekkles’s future in the LEC or LFL is still unknown. While he remains signed to Karmine Corp under contract until 2023, rumours have suggested the AD Carry will return to Fnatic for the upcoming Winter Split.

Current botlaner for Fnatic Upset has confirmed he is teamless heading into next year and the organisation are yet to confirm their final roster.
