Midnite’s Champion Hurdle Verdict

The Champion Hurdle on day one of the Festival looks like a match barring accidents.

Only 7 runners go to post and the odds on favourite Constitution Hill looks to have one serious contender in the Irish trained State Man.

We have only seen Constitution Hill twice since his impressive Supreme Novice Hurdle win at last year's Festival taking the Christmas Hurdle and the Fighting Fifth Hurdle en route to this year's Champion Hurdle.

State Man took the County Handicap Hurdle at last year's Festival but has since won 4 Grade 1 races on home soil in preparation for this year's Champion Hurdle.
