Manchester City's odds ahead of the 2023 Champions League final against Inter Milan show an unprecedented level of expectation on Pep Guardiola's side

Man City head into Saturday’s Champions League final against Inter as huge favourites to win.


In fact, no team’s UCL final odds have been shorter pre-match, going back as far as 2004.


City are 1.4 (41/100) favourites, while Inter are the longest priced finalists on record at 7.00 (6/1).


City’s odds for the 2023 final in Istanbul represent a 70.92% chance of them winning in 90 mins. They have an 83.33% chance of lifting the trophy (including winning after extra-time or penalties).


The chances of Inter winning in 90 mins are 14.29%, while a draw is 22.73%.


Historic data from Oddsportal shows the next-shortest favourites were Bayern Munich, who were 1.7 to beat Chelsea in 2012. Chelsea, of course, upset the odds that night, drawing 1-1 before going on to win the tie on penalties.
