England’s attempt to win back the Ashes for the first time since 2015 begins with the first Test of the 2023 series at Edgbaston on Friday.

According to the Met Office, fine weather is forecast for the first Test at Edgbaston, with only a 20% chance of rain across the five days. Temperatures are expected to reach 24C with a mixture of sunshine and light cloud.
