The International - the showpiece event of the Dota 2 esports calendar - is upon us, with 20 of the best teams looking to dominate the TI11 standings to progress through the group stages, into the playoff bracket and achieve ultimate glory.


The International 2022 is the climax of the Dota Pro Circuit season and is being held for the first time in Singapore, with PGL as tournament organisers. Here's what you need to know ahead of the TI11 group stage and looking further ahead at the schedule into the playoff bracket.

TI11 Group Stage

The TI11 group stage will feature 20 teams, increased from 18 teams in previous years, with an additional two coming via the Last Chance Qualifier, held immediately before the start of the main event.


Teams are divided into two groups of 10, with a single round-robin format.


IT 11 group stage matches run from 15 October to 18 October with eight teams from each group progressing to the playoffs.


Who qualified for TI11?

The teams at The International 2022 are made up of invitees, regional qualifiers and two TI11 Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ).


Team Secret booked their place via LCQ and were followed by Team Liquid, who beat Virtus.pro in the lower-bracket final.

TI11 Bracket

TI11 Bracket matches will be played at Suntec Singapore, with finals weekend matches taking place at Singapore Indoor Stadium.


Teams who qualify via the group stages will enter the playoffs - the TI11 bracket. The top four teams from each group enter the upper bracket, with the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth placed teams entering the lower bracket. The advantage of being in the upper bracket, is teams can afford to lose one match and drop into the lower bracket. Teams in the lower bracket only get once shot.


TI11 Predictions and Betting Odds

When looking to make your TI11 predictions, The International 2022 betting odds are a good place to start. PSG.LDG are the strong favourites going into the tournament, ahead of Team Spirit, OG and Royal Never Give up. The TI11 prize pool stands at $13,606,136. That figure is significantly less than previous years, with last year’s $40,018,195 being a record and following $34m in 2019 and $25.5m in 2018.
