About Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways

Blueprint Gaming built its Cash Strike series around one idea: cash value symbols on the outer reels, a collect symbol in the middle, and a payout when the two meet. Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways puts that idea on a Megaways layout, so the three reels change height on every spin and the number of ways to win moves with them, up to 125. It arrived in January 2025 as part of a busy release run for the Newcastle studio.

There is no wild symbol and no traditional Free Spins round, which makes this a shorter, blunter slot than most Megaways titles. Almost everything hangs on the Cash Strike Collect symbol landing on the middle reel and then walking down the screen one row at a time, sweeping up whatever cash values sit either side of it. Four Cashpot prizes sit on top of that, and the maximum win is capped at £250,000.

How to Play Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways

Stakes at Midnite start from £0.10 per spin. Pick a stake, hit spin, and the three reels fill with a variable number of symbols. Standard wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, and because reel heights change each spin, the ways count swings between a handful and 125. Autoplay and turbo options sit in the same panel as the stake selector.

The cash game runs alongside that. Cash prize symbols carry a set value and land on reels one and three, while the Cash Strike Collect symbol lands on reel two. Land a Collect symbol and the Hotstepper feature starts: the symbol steps down one position per spin, paying out any cash values in view, until it steps off the bottom of the reel. Cash prize symbols on both outer reels at the same time as a Collect symbol trigger the Cash Strike Bonus, which awards three respins and resets the count back to three every time a new cash symbol lands.

Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways Features

  • Megaways Reels: Three reels with variable symbol heights, giving up to 125 ways to win. Reel heights are locked in place while the Hotstepper feature is running.
  • Hotstepper: Triggered by a Cash Strike Collect symbol on reel two. The Collect symbol moves down one row on each subsequent spin and pays out any cash values on reels one and three as it passes, ending when it steps out of view.
  • Cash Strike Bonus: Cash prize symbols on reels one and three landing with a Collect symbol on reel two starts a respin round of three spins. Fresh cash symbols reset the respin count, and up to five Collect symbols can be active at once.
  • Gold Strike: Cash and Collect symbols feed a meter on the Cash Strike logo above the reels. Filling it adds symbols to the grid that guarantee the Cash Strike Bonus starts.
  • Cashpots: Four fixed prizes attached to the cash symbols, paying Mini at 25x stake, Minor at 50x, Major at 150x and Grand at 1,000x. These are fixed values, not a progressive pool.
  • Power Play: An optional mode played at 5x the base stake, so a minimum of £0.50 per spin. Every reel is fixed at five symbols high and only cash prize and Collect symbols appear, with the Hotstepper still active. UK players should check the in-game help screen for current availability.

Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways Theme and Symbols

Blueprint has kept the visual language of a pub cabinet and dropped it against a dark backdrop with light spilling out from behind the reels. There is no story to follow and no character to root for. What you get is a compact three-reel window, a Cash Strike logo meter sitting above it, and the four Cashpot markers running down the side.

Cherries, lemons, plums and oranges make up the low-paying symbols, worth around half a stake. Watermelons, grapes, bells, stars and sevens pay between one and five times stake at the top end, which is modest by design. The symbols that matter are the cash prize symbols, each printed with its own value, and the Cash Strike Collect symbol that gathers them in. With no wild in the set, the standard grid is there mainly to fill the gaps between cash symbol landings.

  • Fishin' Frenzy Megaways: Blueprint's best-known Megaways title, built on the same cash collect logic with a fisherman symbol doing the collecting.
  • Eye of Horus Megaways: Another Blueprint Megaways release, higher on expanding wilds and free games if the respin format here feels too narrow.
  • 9 Pots of Gold: Fixed pot prizes on a simple grid, for players who like the Cashpot structure more than the Megaways part.
