You Fill Up My Senses… Like a Greasy Chip Butty
Ahead of the Steel City derby, we took Sheffield United’s iconic Chip Butty anthem to a whole new level — unveiling a four-metre giant chip butty outside Bramall Lane.
By Dave Learmont
There are football anthems.
And then there’s the Chip Butty anthem.
If you’ve ever been anywhere near Bramall Lane on matchday, you’ll know the one. Full volume. Arms round shoulders. Absolute limbs. It’s Sheffield United heritage; equal parts passion, pride and carbs.
So ahead of the Steel City derby, we thought… Why not take it literally?
A 4-Metre Tribute to the Blades
Yep. We unveiled a giant chip butty outside Bramall Lane. Four metres of proper Sheffield culture, paraded around before kick-off like the pre-match icon it deserves to be.
Ridiculous? Slightly. Iconic? Absolutely.
As principal partners of Sheffield United, we’re not here to just stick our logo on a shirt and call it a day. If we’re part of this club, we’re part of it. And nothing says “Blades” like that anthem echoing round the ground.
So we built it. In collaboration with Brook Bakery, a proper local Sheffield business who know their way around a loaf.
Because if you’re doing a chip butty, you do it right.
Built For Fans. Not Boardrooms.
From day one, our approach in Sheffield has been simple:
Be present. Be useful. Be part of it.
That’s meant covering away travel for fans. Fresh trims for Blades supporters at the start of 2026. A 50 square metre mural backing Chris Wilder opposite the stadium.
And now? A chip butty the size of a small flat.
Not for clicks. Not for corporate back-patting.
But to celebrate something that belongs to the fans.
More Than Just A Stunt
Here’s the important bit.
The giant chip butty isn’t just for show. It’s being donated to local homeless charities and food banks across Sheffield.
Because if we’re going to celebrate the city, we’re going to support it too.
Community isn’t a line in a sponsorship deck. It’s action. It’s working with local businesses. It’s giving back in ways that actually matter.
Why We Do It
We’re one of the fastest-growing sportsbook apps in the UK, with over 400,000 players and counting. But growth only matters if you’re doing it the right way.
We’re licensed and regulated in Great Britain and Ireland. We build our own tech in-house. We focus on transparency, rapid withdrawals, and a platform that actually works.
But more than that, we’re sports mad.
We get why the Chip Butty anthem matters. We get why derby day isn’t just another fixture.
And if we’re going to be front-of-shirt sponsors, we’re going to lean in properly.
No half-measures. No heritage handcuffs. No “that’ll do.”
Just football. Fans. And occasionally, a four-metre sandwich.
Sheffield, this one’s for you. ❤️⚔️
