Can Watkins & Saka Be Your Saturday Hot Shots?

Aston Villa are flying, Arsenal are ruthless, and two players are heating up at the perfect time. We break down why Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka are primed to hit the target this weekend — and the Saturday Super Boost that drops at 9am.

This Premier League season? Chaos. Pure, beautiful chaos.

Aston Villa started the year looking like they were trying to speedrun the first manager to be sacked market; six games, zero wins, vibes absolutely in the mud. And then? Boom. Emery gave a hearty ‘good ebening’ and flipped the switch.

Twelve wins, two losses, Europa League carnage, and suddenly they’re sitting pretty in third. The spark?

Emi Buendia. Yeah, we didn’t have that on our bingo card either.

But the real headline is Ollie Watkins finally remembering he’s allowed to let fly again. A brace against Brighton in midweek, three shots on target, and a level of confidence Villa fans have been begging for. Even in his “struggles”, the England forward has still averaged over 1.25 shots per game, and now he looks like he’s heating up properly.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are doing their best impression of a Premier League freight train. Top by five points, seven goals conceded, and rolling through fixtures with such ease it’s like they’re powered only by Deep Heat and muscle memory.

And while the Gunners don’t rely on one superstar the way City rely on Mr Scores-Every-Weekend, Bukayo Saka is still the definition of inevitable. Four goals, one assist, and over two shots per game is outrageous consistency… and the Brentford cameo? Pure cinema.

Coming on for Noni Madueke just after the hour mark, Saka danced through bodies with movement slick enough to give aspirin a headache. His goal, a curling effort Kelleher almost stopped, was another reminder that you can only contain Star Boy for so long.
