Conor McGregor's Amazing Earnings Per Strike In UFC

Conor McGregor still holds the record for the highest earnings per strike of any winning UFC fighter in history.

‘The Notorious’ returns to the Octagon later this year in a welterweight clash with Michael Chandler, his opposition coach in the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Famed for his lavish lifestyle and prize fighting acumen, research from Midnite has concluded the Irishman earned £77,000 per strike in his 2015 victory against Jose Aldo.

From his disclosed £385k earnings that night at UFC 194, it meant his five strikes proved fruitful for the 34-year-old.

Ronda Rousey earned more money per strike in her UFC 207 bout with Amanda Nunes at £330k from her seven strikes and a guaranteed purse of £2.3million, but she was knocked out in 48 seconds.

Similarly, Aldo’s defeat to McGregor earned him £308,000 as he landed a single strike on the night.

Consecutive defeats to Dustin Poirier in 2021 also proved lucrative for McGregor, with the July defeat his highest recorded purse in UFC history at just over £3.6m, not including pay-per-view sales.
