And after last week’s NLD win over Spurs, followed by a midweek dismantling of Bayern, The Gunners have pretty much stamped out the “bottling” chat before December’s even hit.

But next up? Chelsea. A team that can either beat anyone on their day and probably win the Super Bowl if they really fancied it… or look like they’ve accidentally wandered into the showstopping-yet-slightly-silly Baller League talent show. No one has vibes like Chelsea. Not always good vibes, but vibes nonetheless.

And a huge part of Arsenal’s recent spark? Eberechi Eze.

The £67.5m summer signing has slotted in like he’s been there for years. Four league goals, relentless confidence, and a highlight reel that’s already getting silly. That sublime curler for England against Serbia (yes, yes, all about the five-yard pass), the hatty in the NLD, the assist against Bayern… he’s moving different. Like a player who knows exactly what this team needed.

Say what you like about Arsenal “parking the bus”, but Eze’s ripped the handbrake off and shoved that thing straight into fifth gear. Spark. Flair. That slice of chaos defenders hate preparing for.

And honestly? Arsenal fans won’t care how they win. Park it, run it, smash it home off Gabriel Jesus’ inevitably injured knee… just get the trophy in May.
